Q1.  Can my site be added to the K-12 search engine?

A1.  If you have a educationally relevant web site, then yes, please feel free to e-mail me your site and I will review and add it if it is a useful site for students or teachers.  I will reply to your e-mail to confirm that it has been added or denied.  Go to the contact page to e-mail me the site.

Q2.  Is the SE truly safe?

A2.  It's as safe as it can be.  The internet is a dangerous place and we cannot police all the web sites that have been entered into our database.  The fact is, sites change owners quite often on the web and if a site is in our database and the new owners are not as nice as the old owners, the potential for inappropriate content exists. Please contact us if you find any site that VIA our search engine that should not be there.  We cannot be nor will we be liable for the content of web sites not owned by us.

With that in mind, please remember that this search engine has been specifically limited to educational web sites and that all searches use the Google safe search technology, so the chances of finding sites with content that is considered inappropriate are slim.

Q3.  Can I add the K-12 Teacher - Student Safe Search Engine to my site or my schools site?

A3.  No, you must visit the K-12 Teacher - Student Safe Search Engine Web Page to search the database.  Remember, this search engine is limited to educationally relevant web site that have been added to the database by educators, teachers and administrators.

Q4.  Can I add the Whole Web Safe Search Engine to my site or my schools site?

A4.  Absolutely!  Just copy and paste the following code into your site where you would like the search box to be.

Q6.  May I use your logo to post your link on my site?

A6.  Yes. you may save our logo and use it on your site, however, you MAY NOT link directly to the image.  We are a high bandwidth site and we cannot afford to have hundreds of sites pulling the image directly from our servers every day.  So please, just right click the image and save it to your computer,  then just upload it to your web server.  Thank you!
