Edusafe is proud to sponsor the following listserv
e-mail lists for K-12 educators. We have setup 3 lists. The first
list is for Technology Coordinators and Network Admins. The second for
teachers and the third for principals, superintendents and other K-12
administrators.
Please feel free to use these listserv's for
any education related communication to the other list members. Job
tips, technology questions, how to deal with a rowdy class, horse
trading between schools or selling items your school no longer needs or
uses.. These are all examples of what you can do..
Please do not sign up if you are a
vendor trying to hock you goods to our listserv members. You will be
removed and your domain blocked.

What is a mailing list?
|
| Using this service, you will be able to send e-mails to multiple
recipients, included in this list. |
| How mailing lists work? |
| In order to send an e-mail to the mailing list, you must be a
member of this mailing list. Each e-mail message from the
administrator or any of the members is being processed by the
mailing list and sent to all its subscribers. |
| When a subscriber replies to this e-mail message, the reply will
be sent back to the sender of the original message only. Of course,
there is a possibility for each mailing list to be reconfigured such
that all replies will also be transmitted to all mailing list
subscribers. |

General description of the mailing
lists system
Majordomo is an automated system, which allows users to subscribe
and unsubscribe to mailing lists, and to retrieve files from list
archives. You can interact with the Majordomo software by sending it
commands in the body of mail messages addressed to
This e-mail address is being
protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
|
| Please do not put your commands on the subject line - only in
the message body! Majordomo does not process commands in the subject
line. |
| You may put multiple Majordomo commands in the same mail
message. Put each command on a line by itself. |
If you use a "signature block" at the end of your mail,
Majordomo may mistakenly believe each line of your message is a
command; you will then receive false error messages. To avoid this,
either put a line starting with a hyphen ("-") before your
signature, or put a line with just the word:
end |
| Can I have my own list? |
| Do you need a listserv list for your district or for
specific schools? Listserv's are a great way of managing
correspondence to multiple recipients. Listserv's are especially
useful in emergency situations when you need to pass information to
as many people as you can in the shortest amount of time. E-mail,
while not a solution in and of itself, is just one tool in your
arsenal, and listserv's make it easy. If you would like a listserv
for your school, please e-mail
